How Truvel works

1. Plan a journey

Type where you're starting and where you're going: a town, street, postcode, station or stop. Then choose Search. Each journey shows live times, the fare, your chance of making each change, carbon and walking. Open one to see it on a map, with a key to the colours.

2. What's near you

The map on the home page shows the stations and stops around you. Tap Show what's near me, and the next departures from each appear under it, live.

3. Get me home

Save Home, Work and your favourite places, with your own names for them. One tap plans a journey there from where you are, or tap From or To to pick one, for Work to Home. Sign in and they're on all your devices.

4. Alerts

Open a journey and choose Alerts for this journey. Truvel tells you when to leave for the bus, when it's 5 minutes away, when to get off, and if your train is late or changes platform.
